We are a very laid back barn. Parents have appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and our heart and our care for each and every student. They like the affordable prices, but many keep coming back because they love that our programs are centered around God, and that is what they WANT to be the center of their child's development.
These are a series of meetings that are scheduled through the school year. We will have a fall session, winter session and spring session. Please check out our facebook page for updated dates and prices. Each meeting consists of an in depth Bible study, some craft, learning the basics of horse care, barn management and beginner riding all dependent on weather. These clubs have been a great way to give your kids a great learning experience at an affordable price.
Camps typically run through the month of June, to escape some of the July heat and flies. These camps run in the afternoons Monday thru Friday. See our facebook page for updated fliers, dates and times. This is a more immersive learning experience than the camps. A day at camp will begin with an in depth Bible study. Then we will introduce an activity, project or craft for each student to work on while we rotate the riders. They will learn the basics of horsemanship, riding and barn management. They will typically learn how to bathe, groom and ride a horse. We introduce ground work and showmanship. We want each student to have the best experience so we will cap out our camp at 12 students. Prepayment may be required to hold the spot. This is a fun time, give us a call if you have any questions.
We are not a fancy show barn. With these lessons you will learn the basics of riding, contact, balance and proper posture. We currently only have the space for walking and trotting, but hopefully we can improve that space in the near future. This is a back yard type of space to allow kids to have an affordable opportunity to explore their passion and see if it's something they would like to pursue more frequently. I am happy to work with kids and adults. Since my full time job is with my family, I have limited time where I can do lessons, but I always try to designate a day. If this sounds like something you might enjoy, please give me a call and I will check the availability. These lessons run $20 for a 30 minute riding window.
We have over eight miles or trails available to us to ride on. Its the perfect trails for beginner and moderate riders. This option is designed for more confident riders and for those going through the lesson program. I can only take groups of two out at a time. Trail rides do have age, weight, clothing and weather limitations. These can be disclosed ahead of time. There will be a waiver to sign. Horses will be saddled and ready to ride. If you are not part of the lesson program, we will spend the first 10-15 minutes making sure you are safe to go out on the trails, practicing in the small arena. If all goes well, we can head out on the trails for 1-2 hours. Something to keep in mind when scheduling, if you don’t ride frequently, most people are sore after 1 hour of riding. These trails are open and perfect for beginners.
1 hour - $50 per person
2 hour - $90 per person
